CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

1. No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for any loss, damage, injury or illness sustained by the exhibit= ors, riders or their horses or ponies and all entries are accepted on this basis= .

2. The organizers reserve the right to cancel = or amalgamate any classes if there are insufficient entries or to amend the conditions of any class at their discretion.

3. Entries will not be acknowledged unless a stamped addressed envelope is submitted with the entry.

4. No numbers will be sent to exhibitors before the show date. Competitors’ numbers to be collected from the secretary’s office on showground.

5. Membership and Registration will be suspended immediately, if cheques payable to the BSPS. the BSPS Championshi= ps Show or a BSPS Area are not honoured by the bank or if there is any money o= wing to the BSPS, the Championships Show or a BSPS Area, or if ANY TROPHIES belonging to the BSPS, the BSPS Championships Show or a BSPS Area are not returned by the requested date.

A surcharge of £10 will be charged if cheques have to be represented,

6. The judges listed in the schedule have acce= pted our invitation to judge but the committee reserve the right to appoint substitutes should any of the appointed judges withdraw.<= /p>

7. THE TIMETABLE IS PROVISIONAL AND THE COMMIT= TEE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO AMEND AT THEIR DISCRETION. Every effort is made to avo= id clashing of classes but IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPETITOR TO ENSURE THEY   CAN COMPETE IN THE CLASSES ENTERED. THE COMMITTEE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE SHOW

8. Committee decisions will be final.

 

BYE LAW (Rule of t= he Show) - Only tack that is permissible in the ring is allowed on the showgro= und whilst mounted

 

SOCIETIES RULES & CONDITIONS=

 

BSPS RULES AFFILIATION No: 193/08

 

This show is affiliated to the BSPS and all classes are held in accordance with the 2008 Rule & Show Handbook and a= ll persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in BSPS class= es, whether or not members of the BSPS are subject to the Constitution and Rule= s of the BSPS including the disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the BSPS.=   Any pony taking part in classes judged under BSPS Rules will be liab= le to dope testing.

 

This show is a qualifier for the BSPS SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIPS to be h= eld at the Arena UK Grantham August 2008  1st & 2nd Prize-winners will qualify in classes 2-4, 10 , 11-13, 17-21, 35-38, 1st 2nd & 3rd prize-winners in classes 9, 14 , 23-24, 34, 42-43,  45-48, 1st = 2nd, 3rd & 4th prize-winners in classes 8, 16,39  provided the animal is owned, regi= stered and ridden by a BSPS member or in accordance with the BSPS rules 23 & 2= 8.

 

BSPS HARRY HALL BEST RIDER=

The Best Rider in each of the following classe= s at all BSPS affiliated shows will be awarded a Best Rider card and qualify for= the final at the BSPS Summer Championships. Open lead rein, open first ridden, = open 128cms, 138cms, 148cms show ponies, Open L/R of Show Hunter type, Open 122c= ms, 133cms, 143cms, 153cms show hunter ponies, open cradle and nursery stakes, = open 133cms, 143cms, 153cms,working hunter ponies, open intermediate SRT, SH and= WH classes, Open Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden and Open Heritage  Ridden & WHP classes also ,  to riders who have not attained th= eir 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

     = BSPS TRAVEL TRUST ASSOCIATION  CHALLENGE  2008

This show is a qualifier for the ‘BSPS TRAVEL TRUST  Challenge’= , the highest placed pony in the Lead rein, First Ridden, Lead Rein of HT, Open S= how Pony, Open SHP, Cradle & Nursery Stakes, Open WHP, Open Int. SRT, SH &a= mp; WH, & the Heritage Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden & WHP class= es that has not qualified for the  2008 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already  quali= fied then the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony.

 

 

BSPS PREMIER LEAGUE 2008

This show is a qualifier = for the ‘BSPS Premier League’.  The 1= st, 2nd and 3rd prizewinners in the following classes will qualify:  Lead Rein  & First Ridden, 128cms,138cms,= 148cms Show Pony. Lead Rein of H/T, 122cms,133cms,143cms,153cms 122cms,133cms,143cms,153cms SHP Cradle stakes & Nursery Stakes, 133cms,143cms,153cms, WHP, Intermediate SRT, SH & WHP, Open Heritage Le= ad Rein, First Ridden, Ridden  &a= mp; WHP classes. The finals to be held at the BSPS Summer Championship show.

 

This show is a Points show for:            Area 2B - Double points awarded in all classes

Judges: To be arranged – this championship wil= l be judged on an ‘ice skating mark system with the marks for each pony be= ing displayed after its individual show.

 

Ponies eligible are all Champions and Reserves from today’s show  together w= ith 1st prize winners from classes 5, 8, 16, 22, 30, 31, 39, 44

Ponies in possession of a qualification card from the various qualifiers through out the area points shows.  Please note all competitors who ha= ve qualified for this championship prior to today’s show MUST have retur= ned their qualification card prior to the show .
