We hold training sessions at various yards throughout the year, all members are very welcome to attend whether or not they wish to compete.

They provide an excellent chance to learn more about conformation, way of going, and to understand judges
different points of view.
It is a great learning experience but also enjoyable to do and be part of a team.

Why not come along and get involved, and see if it is for you. You probably know more than you think!

For more details regarding the young judges please contact Janet Hoyle

The team competition is open to members 14 – 21, and the individual 18 – 24

The competition is held on the Tuesday afternoon, with the results being announced in the Vauxhall hall during the evening.

At the Competition 4 ponies will be judged and placed using the marks system. each team/individual is interviewed and must answer questions on how they placed the ponies, the conformation of the ponies, and rules of the BSPS.
The Heritage Young Judges is a individual competition held at the BSPS Heritage Show at Arena UK.
